Notes from the Heart...Cruising Around on  the 43rd Latitude

Have a special occasion this summer ? Why not book a cruise around beautiful
Lake Winnipesaukee, NH? If you book now until June 16 you can save some
money with Latitude 32 Charters.  You'll get a 25% off
discount  for cruises up to two hours. Want a longer
cruise? You'll save even more -- 30%. These discounts
mean a savings of $45 for a  one-hour cruise and up to
$250 for a full day charter.

Cruises are all private and customizable. Various
dockside boarding locations are available to ensure
the perfect excursion. Most cruises are limited to 6 guests and same day
reservations may be available. Latitude 43° is a licensed commercial vessel
available for private, group and commercial charters. Flexible scheduling and
catering options are always available. Information and reservations are available
by calling 603-253-7811 or 603-455-2533 or by visiting

This Week's Stories:

Feature: A Good Walk, Perfected: Golfing in New Hampshire
From the resort-owned to semiprivate and public courses, New Hampshire has
more than 80 golf courses to choose from.

Garden: Growing Squash
Each year the National Garden Bureau picks a vegetable to feature, with the
Vegetable of the Year for 2010 being the squash.  There are many varieties of this
easy-to-grow native vegetable, in various shapes and colors.

Food: A Passion for Rhubarb
Not everyone is enamored by the sweet/sour taste of rhubarb in recipes (that
requires a lot of sugar to counterbalance the tart rhubarb taste).  But I love it.  But
before we moved to our New Hampshire home over a decade ago I barely knew
what rhubarb looked like, never mind pick it and use it in a recipe.
