Notes from my back porch...
There is nothing sadder than a winter New England landscape...that's brown.  
We New Englanders have been quite miserable with the precipitation issues
this winter, that is, up until a few days ago when a N'oreaster dumped over a
foot of snow on us.  I've never seen happier folks shoveling snow!  Yes, the
world feels right again.  ~ m.

Too often, sole is fried in a seasoned coating which obscures its flavor, and crab
meat is made into dense cakes which are composed mostly of fillers. This dish
is all about the flavors of the crab and sole.
