Maine's Pick-Your-Own Blueberries

If you are heading to Maine in August for a seaside vacation, your trip to the
ocean can be combined with a fun-filled jaunt to a pick-your-own blueberry
field. So bring your sand buckets and head over to a Blueberry PYO farm near
your hotel, campsite or cabin:

Androscoggin County

cherries are ready to pick in September and apples and pears will be ready for
picking Fall of 2009.  Open 8 a.m. and close at 6:30 p.m. 7 days a week when
there is something in season, July 25 through around September 20.  This is the
largest Highbush Blueberry farm in Aroostook County.
