About The Heart of New England...

The Heart of New England, which first went online February 2004, is free online
magazine for natives, newcomers and visitors that celebrates the unique character
of the 'traditional' and more rural/small town New England states of:
Maine, New Hampshire & Vermont.

This free weekly magazine (and e-mail newsletter) aims to provide high quality,
interesting and lively stories about the New England lifestyle and culture,
gardening, recipes using New England-grown ingredients, contests (with prizes
being hand-made or locally grown products/service), and a calendar of (uniquely
New England) events.

I have started this online magazine to promote and preserve what we have here in
northern New England by letting more people know about the rich history,
culture, and agricultural tradition of this region. More about the publisher...
