| ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Notes from my back porch... We're headed to the lower Cape for our annual two-week camping vacation next week (we camp quite near Provincetown, see above the old postcard of the dunes, which still look this way today). Since I will be without a computer (if I had a laptop I'd probably work, so its a good thing I don't!) the next issue of this newsletter will arrive the Sunday after we come back on August 13. * * * This week's feature brings back our favorite travel writer who looks at things in his own special way...and certainly creates a stir wherever he lands. Yes, Bufford is back and he's right here in my hometown of Keene, NH, checking out all our hot spots on Main Street. Read his hilarious account of his trip at: Travels with Bufford - Keene NH. If you are heading to Maine in August for a seaside vacation, your trip to the ocean can be combined with a fun-filled jaunt to a pick-your-own blueberry field. So bring your sand buckets and head over to a Blueberry PYO farm near your hotel, campsite or cabin. Click here for a listing of PYO Blueberry Farms in Maine. Thanks for stopping by The Heart of New England & see you again in August!
