acknowledges the population deluge that has flooded Hillsborough,
Rockingham, and Merrimack Counties. But he chooses not to show the fast
food restaurants and orange-roofed Home Depots where cows once grazed.
No panoramas of strip malls in this book. We see them every day, and we

Quechee, VT
Jun 16, 2006 to Jun 18, 2006  
Fri., 3 -10 pm. Sat., 5 am-10 pm. Sun., 5 am-7 pm.  

More than 20 magnificent hot air balloons. Weather and wind permitting, first
balloon flight is at 6 pm Fri. Balloon Glow at dark. Flights Sat. and Sun. 6 am &
6 pm. Tethered flights available throughout the festival, weather permitting.
Family fun and entertainment includes live music all weekend long, intriguing
crafts, festival food, volleyball round robin and children’s activities.Many
crafts of League of New Hampshire Craftsmen and the Vermont Hand Crafters
Association.
